Eminence, MO (July 11, 2023) – According to a recent report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle crash in Shannon County resulted in the hospitalization of one driver.
The incident occurred at 12:20 pm on Monday, July 10, 2023.
Christopher Long, a 25-year-old from West Harrison, Indiana, was operating a Ford Taurus when he rear-ended a Jeep Wrangler driven by 67-year-old John Coney of Eminence.
Coney had stopped on Missouri Route 19 while traveling southbound to make a left turn.
The Taurus was completely totaled, but Long escaped without any reported injuries.
The Wrangler sustained moderate damage, and Coney’s injuries were listed as moderate.
He was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
Trooper N.A. Frazier of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G, investigated the incident.
