Epping, NH (March 13, 2025) – A rollover accident on Route 101 left two people injured Wednesday afternoon, prompting a significant emergency response and temporary lane closures.
According to New Hampshire State Police, the crash occurred around 2:32 p.m. near the Martin Rd overpass, between Exits 6 and 7. Authorities determined that a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by 19-year-old Olivia C. Travers of Manchester, was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when she swerved onto the left shoulder to avoid another vehicle. She then overcorrected, crossing both eastbound lanes before veering off the right side of the highway, where the car overturned and landed on its roof in a wooded area.
Emergency personnel, including troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop A barracks, Epping Police Department, and multiple fire and rescue teams, arrived at the scene to assist the victims. Travers sustained moderate but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Her passenger, 19-year-old Luis D. Colon Jr. of Manchester, suffered serious and potentially life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a medical facility for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the New Hampshire State Police Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Unit assisted in documenting the scene. The accident resulted in traffic disruptions for about two and a half hours as authorities investigated and cleared the roadway.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing. Officials urge anyone with additional information to contact Trooper Brian Hanna at Brian.D.Hanna@DOS.NH.GOV.
Our thoughts are with those injured in this incident, and we hope for a full recovery.
Rollover Accidents in New Hampshire

In cases where another motorist’s actions contributed to a crash, victims may have legal options to seek compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages.
