Escambia County, FL (July 27, 2023)- A pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a pickup vehicle on westbound Interstate 10 in Escambia County.
An accident occurred at 4:55 a.m., July 26, 2023, close to mile marker 11.
The pedestrian, also from Pensacola, was 37 years old when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a 64-year-old man as they both approached mile marker 11.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the site.
The authorities are now conducting an investigation.
