Fairfax County, VA (December 14, 2020) – A child died in a car accident that took place on a highway in Fairfax County this past Wednesday, December 9. The crash involved two vehicles that collided on the highway for reasons still under police investigation.
In the morning hours of Wednesday, December 9, four people, including one child, were injured due to the two-car crash that occurred in the 5900 block of the Richmond Highway near Huntington Avenue.
All of the injured victims were transported to a nearby hospital by medical professionals who responded to the call concerning the accident. The child later succumbed to their injuries and passed away at the hospital.
No one involved in the crash has been publicly identified at the current time. The child was riding in a 2015 Hyundai Elantra at the time of the collision with a female driver and a female teenage passenger, all of whom sustained injuries.
