Falls of Rough, KY (September 18, 2023) – A deadly three-vehicle collision occurred around 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the 7100 block of Falls of Rough Road (Hwy 79).

Police report that 53-year-old Amy Embry from New Albany, Indiana, drove a Toyota Prius north.

She suddenly veered about five feet into the southbound lane, colliding with a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 63-year-old Jerry Walker of Caneyville.

Following this, a Ford Ranger driven by Jeremy Lawson, 53, from Falls of Rough, struck the Prius on its driver’s side.

Emergency services transported Embry to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Hospital where she later died.

The investigation is still ongoing.
