School Bus Accidents in Maine
School bus accidents, though relatively rare, can pose significant risks to young passengers. While buses are designed for safety, rear-end collisions can cause injuries, particularly for children who may not be braced for impact.
Maine sees several school bus-related incidents each year, often caused by distracted driving, speeding, or failure to maintain a safe following distance. In many cases, injuries resulting from these crashes lead to medical concerns for students and anxiety for families.
Parents whose children are involved in school bus accidents may have questions regarding their legal rights and potential compensation for medical treatment. In cases where another driver’s negligence leads to a crash, affected families may be able to pursue claims for damages.
