Farmington, MO (March 13, 2025) – Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a serious head-on collision on Missouri 32 at Front Street early Wednesday morning. The accident occurred at approximately midnight and resulted in significant injuries for multiple individuals.
Authorities report that a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling westbound on MO-32 while a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan was heading eastbound. As the Chevrolet attempted to make a right turn from Business 32 onto Highway 32, it crossed the center of the roadway and collided head-on with the Dodge.
The driver of the Dodge, a 71-year-old woman from Park Hills, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by St. Francois County Ambulance to Parkland Hospital in Farmington. A 93-year-old female passenger in the Dodge also suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the same facility. Three juvenile passengers, ages 10, 11, and 14, received minor injuries and were privately transported to Parkland Hospital for treatment.
The 38-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet was not reported as injured. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by Buckley's Towing. Authorities continue to investigate the crash to determine further details.
