Faucett, MO (September 19, 2023) – A collision occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, on southbound I29, just one mile south of Faucett.

The crash involved a 2005 Ford F250 driven by a 28-year-old male from St. Joseph, MO, and a 2022 Ram 3500 driven by Koba Barabadze, 58, from Brooklyn, New York.

Barabadze’s vehicle, which had been on the shoulder, re-entered the road and was hit by the Ford F250.

Both vehicles slid off the west side of the road.

Koba Barabadze sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Buchanan County EMS to Mosaic St Joseph.

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
