Ferguson, MO (July 21, 2023) – On the afternoon of July 20, 2023, a tragic accident occurred on I-170 in Berkeley, claiming the life of a 39-year-old man from Ferguson.
The incident involved a 2001 BMW 330CI and a 2007 Hyundai Elantra.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., the BMW stopped in the third lane due to mechanical issues.
Tragically, the Elantra, driven by Ronaldo Butler, rear-ended the stationary BMW, causing both cars to skid.
The BMW veered off the right side of the road during the collision.
Regrettably, Ronaldo Butler lost his life as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the two occupants of the BMW sustained injuries.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this devastating incident.
