Flagler County, FL – Palm Coast Rear-End Collision in I-95 Claims 1 Man’s Life

Flagler County, FL (July 28, 2023)- On Wednesday night, July 26, 2023, a tragic accident occurred in Flagler County.

The accident involved a 43-year-old Palm Coast man who crashed his van into the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95.

The incident took place around 10:25 p.m. near mile marker 282 on I-95 North.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the van driver failed to stop in time due to traffic congestion, leading to the collision with the trailer.

Sadly, the van driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fortunately, the 30-year-old big rig driver from Lauderhill and his 73-year-old passenger from West Palm Beach were unharmed in the crash, according to the FHP.
