Jacksonville, FL (April 24, 2020) – A serious crash happened in Jacksonville yesterday afternoon that involved injuries.
The accident occurred around 2 p.m. on I-295 near Old St. Augustine Road when multiple vehicles crashed into one another for reasons still being investigated.
According to authorities who responded to the crash, it occurred in the southbound lanes of I-295. That area of the roadway was blocked off for some time following the accident.
Numerous emergency workers responded to the scene of the accident including police, paramedics, and fire crews.
Paramedics were seen assisting those with injuries, though the extent of those injuries remains currently unknown.
No one involved in the accident has been identified.
An investigation into the circumstances of the collision will continue.
