Jacksonville FL – One Injured In Car Crash at Merchants Way Int

Jacksonville, FL (July 15, 2020) – Authorities responded to a car crash in Jacksonville last night that left one individual with injuries. 

The crash took place at the intersection of Merchants Way and Oakleaf Village Pkwy at approximately 8:11 p.m. on July 14. Two cars collided for reasons that have not currently been disclosed. 

Due to the crash, one individual ended up unable to exit their vehicle without extrication from fire crews. Once they were free from the wreckage, the injured victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries of an unknown magnitude.

Police, fire crews, and EMTs responded to the scene of the crash and the roadway in the area was closed off for a small period of time following the collision. 

No further information has been currently released at this time.
