Kissimmee, FL (July 20, 2020) – A car accident took the life of a 22-year-old woman in Kissimmee on July 19.
The crash took place on Buenaventura Boulevard just after 12:00 a.m. when the vehicle she was traveling in as a passenger left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The reason the collision took place remains under investigation by local police.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. The driver sustained injuries of a critical nature and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
A 1-year-old boy who was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash sustained only minor injuries and all of the vehicle occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The area of the roadway that the crash took place on was shut down for a period of time following the incident.
Nothing further has been currently released regarding the crash or its circumstances.
A police investigation into why the accident happened will be carried out.
