St. Petersburg, FL – Injury Accident at Tyrone Blvd and 66th St N

St. Petersburg, FL (April 19, 2020) – An injury accident occurred in St. Petersburg at a local intersection on the evening of April 16.

The crash happened at the intersection of Tyrone Boulevard and 66th Street North at around 6:32 p.m. and involved two or more vehicles that collided with one another for reasons still under investigation. 

The roadway in the area was blocked off for some time following the incident and travelers were urged to find alternate routes. 

Police, fire crews, and paramedics were observed at the scene of the accident assisting those with injuries. The number of people hurt and the extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time. 

An investigation into the circumstances of the accident will continue. 

No further information has been currently released.
