Florin, CA (July 20, 2023) – On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, a car accident involving a bicycle rider occurred in the southbound lanes of Reese Road, just north of Gerber Road in Florin.
The collision was reported around 7:36 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The police stated that a driver in a silver Honda Civic struck the bicyclist under unknown circumstances.
The bike rider and the car were on the right shoulder after the collision.
Paramedics responded to assist the injured bicyclist, who suffered a leg injury in the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver seemingly left the scene and went home or into a nearby residence.
Investigators are actively determining the fault for the bicycle accident at Reese Road and Gerber Road.
