Fort Worth, TX (September 18, 2023) – A fatal accident occurred at the I-30 and Cooks Lane intersection around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023.

The crash led to the closure of eastbound I-30 until approximately 6:15 a.m.

Two individuals died on site after a vehicle struck them.

While investigations proceed, a section of the highway remains shut.

For detours, drivers can utilize Lancaster from I-30 for about five to six miles before rejoining I-30 at Cooks Lane.

The investigation is still ongoing.
