Fountain City, WI (September 13, 2023) – Six people suffered injuries in a five-vehicle crash near Fountain City on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. at Highway 35 and Park Street.
Wisconsin State Patrol reports that a southbound vehicle crossed the centerline, striking a northbound vehicle head-on. This led to three other vehicles joining the crash.
Two victims were airlifted to hospitals, while four others were transported by ambulance. Victim conditions and identities remain undisclosed.
By 3:30 p.m., both Highway 35 lanes stayed closed. Southbound drivers should take Wisconsin 88 east to Waumandee Creek Rd. to WIS 35. Northbound drivers should reverse this route.
The investigation is still ongoing.
