Franklin County, MO (March 19, 2025) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at MO-100 and Rte V on Tuesday afternoon, leaving two people injured.

The accident occurred at approximately 3:17 p.m. when a 2015 Ford F-150, driven by a 20-year-old man from Union, attempted to cross MO-100 but failed to yield to an eastbound 2019 Ford F-250. The F-250, driven by a 48-year-old man from House Springs, struck the front and right side of the F-150, forcing the second vehicle off the roadway.

First responders from Meramec EMS transported a 20-year-old male driver of the Ford F-150 to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with moderate injuries. Additionally, a 47-year-old female occupant from House Springs sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital. Another 47-year-old female passenger in the F-250 suffered minor injuries and was transported for medical evaluation.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene by Patriot Towing. Authorities, including TPR J. Servais and MSGT L. Keathley, continue to investigate the crash.

Our thoughts are with those injured, and we hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in Missouri

Missouri experiences a significant number of traffic collisions each year, with failure to yield being a common contributing factor. When a driver disregards right-of-way rules, severe crashes can occur, often leading to injuries that require emergency medical care.

Intersections, particularly those with high-speed traffic like MO-100, pose increased risks for drivers. Defensive driving and strict adherence to traffic signals and right-of-way laws can help prevent such accidents. Unfortunately, even careful motorists can find themselves victims of collisions due to another driver’s oversight.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a traffic accident, understanding your legal rights is crucial. Medical bills, lost wages, and long-term recovery can be challenging to manage alone.
