Franklin County, PA (September 18, 2023) – Franklin Fire Company, Station 4, quickly responded to a solo tractor-trailer incident on Interstate 81 southbound near mile marker 14 at 2:06 p.m. on September 18, 2023.
One person was trapped in the tractor-trailer after it hit a cable barrier.
Squad 41 safely extricated the person through the passenger door without injuries.
Franklin County Hazmat was called in to contain 100 gallons of diesel fuel.
Investigations into the accident continue.
