Franklin Township, MN (December 14, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision occurred Thursday morning at the intersection of Hwy 12 and CR 14 in Franklin Township, Wright County. The crash involved a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2020 Ford Transit van.
According to authorities, the Chevrolet Blazer, driven by 62-year-old Susan Reed of Buffalo, MN, was traveling southbound on CR 14 when it attempted to make a left turn onto eastbound Hwy 12. The Ford Transit van, driven by 32-year-old Terrance Alonzo Anthony of Montrose, MN, was traveling westbound on Hwy 12 when the collision occurred at the intersection.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and airbags were deployed in both vehicles. Reed, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) for treatment. Anthony, also wearing a seatbelt, was unharmed and did not require medical attention.
The road conditions were dry at the time of the incident, and there were no indications of alcohol involvement. Wright County law enforcement responded to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
