Frederick, MD (July 20, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning. On July 18, the Maryland State Police responded to the scene of a crash on US Route 340.
Reports from authorities show that 24-year-old Tiara Marie Sprinkel was driving a black Nissan Altima in the wrong direction of westbound US Route 340 when her vehicle collided head-on with a Ford Focus near St. Marks Road.
The driver of the Ford, 55-year-old Brett Lee Warner, was declared deceased at the scene due to his injuries.
Sprinkel was transported to shock trauma for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
