Fredericksburg, VA (December 2, 2022) – An automobile accident took place in the Fredericksburg area on Thursday evening that ended in injuries. At around 5:50 p.m., on December 1, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Route 3.
According to law enforcement, a total of four vehicles collided on the westbound side of Route 3 in the area near Riverbend High School. The incident caused severe delays in traffic.
EMS responded to the scene to provide treatment of victims and transport them to area hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
