Fredericksburg, VA (January 29, 2023) – Emergency officials were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an accident that occurred on Saturday evening that ended in injuries.
On January 28, the police and firefighters were notified that a traffic crash had occurred on plank Road.
At approximately 615 p.m., authorities arrived at the scene and found damaged vehicles blocking the eastbound side of plank Road at the intersection of Spotsylvania Mall Drive.
The incident prompted officials across Spotsylvania County to close off the roadway as they provided assistance at the scene.
Paramedics were called to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
The police department is actively investigating the accident.
