Fredonia, NY (January 9, 2023) – Authorities say that a man was tragically killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Fredonia. The fatal collision took place on Friday night, October 6th, on Route 60.
According to law enforcement, Richard Lorek, 64, of Brockport, was crossing the roadway on foot when he was hit by a vehicle at or near Vineyard Drive. Emergency crews were called to the scene, where the located Lorek, who was suffering from traumatic injuries.
Lorek was immediately rushed to Brooks Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Few other details are available at this time.
