Fresno, CA (September 19, 2023) – A deadly collision occurred on Friday, September 15, 2023, around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 43, just north of Davis Avenue.

18-year-old Yareli Lemus-Molina drove a Toyota Camry south, tried passing traffic, and crossed the center line.

The Camry collided head-on with an approaching Range Rover.

Both Lemus-Molina and passenger, 15-year-old Dominick Reyes, died in the crash.

Another Camry passenger and two from the Range Rover sustained injuries and received hospital treatment.

Marijuana use by the Camry teens is suspected.

The investigation is still ongoing.
