Fresno, CA (July 25, 2023) – A tragic accident occurred in Fresno County on Monday afternoon, July 24, 2023, resulting in one fatality.
According to the CHP, a Ford F-450 hit a stationary Toyota at Highway 41 and Elkhorn at 12:45 pm.
Regrettably, a female passenger in the Toyota lost her life due to the impact.
The force of the collision caused the Toyota to strike a Chevy, and subsequently, the Chevy collided with a big rig trailer.
Among those injured, a child, approximately three years old, was rushed to the hospital.
Fortunately, the child’s adequately installed car seat likely played a pivotal role in saving their life.
California Highway Patrol authorities are investigating the incident.
