Fruitland, MD (February 9, 2023) – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Tuesday evening that ended in injuries.
The accident was reported just before 6:15 p.m. on February 7.
Reports provided by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Cedar Lane in the area near North Camden Avenue. One of the vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene before emergency officials arrived.
Medical attention was provided to the injured victims while at the scene. An ambulance then transported at least one person to a local hospital for further care.
The Sheriff’s office and firefighters remained at the scene as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
