Ft. Oglethorpe, GA (January 23, 2023)- At approximately 11:31 a.m. On January 21, 2023, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Ft. Oglethorpe. Catoosa County officials said the accident occurred on Battlefield Parkway near South Cedar Lane Saturday morning. Police confirmed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time and collided. There was extensive damage to both vehicles involved in the accident.

Many local responders helped those in need at the scene, including paramedics and firefighters. The accident resulted in injuries to multiple parties. It is unclear what the current condition is of the injured parties, who were hospitalized.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked until police cleared the scene. The area experienced extensive delays as a result. The investigation of what caused the collision continues, but no other details have been reported at this time.
