Fulton County, GA (August 5, 2022) – Multiple lanes of a roadway in Fulton County were blocked on the evening of August 5 due to a serious car accident. The incident was reported to authorities in the area shortly after 7:00 p.m. 

Sources say the accident occurred at around 7:15 p.m. on Interstate 20 near Martin Luther King Jr Drive. What led up to the collision is under investigation by authorities in Fulton County at this time. 

Police and paramedics were sent to assist at the crash site shortly after it occurred. The extent of the injuries suffered in the accident has not been reported. 

At least one p[erson required emergency assistance on-site. EMTs rendered aid to the injured parties and transported those in need of further care to area hospitals. 

The involved individuals were not immediately identified.
