Gaithersburg, MD (March 19, 2023) – The Montgomery County Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Gaithersburg area and ended in injuries.
The crash took place just after 7:00 a.m. on March 18.
According to officials, vehicles collided on Montgomery Village Avenue. The incident caused authorities to shut down some of the road near North Frederick Avenue.
Emergency officials remained at the scene for an extended period as they worked to clear the road.
Paramedics were dispatched to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
