Gaithersburg, MD (February 16, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported in the Gaithersburg area on Wednesday afternoon that resulted in injuries.
On February 15, the Montgomery County Police Department and the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services responded to the scene of a collision on Midcounty Highway.
Reports show that a vehicle crash occurred on the northbound side of the highway at around 1:24 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the roadway near Woodfield Road. Crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the scene.
Three people suffered injuries in the accident. The victims, all three identified only as adults, were transported to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
