Gaithersburg, MD (February 15, 2023) – Just before 5:30 p.m. on February 14, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were called to provide assistance at the scene of the accident that left at least one person injured.
According to law enforcement, a collision between vehicles occurred on North Frederick Avenue in the area of Christopher Avenue. The incident prompted officials to block off multiple lanes of the roadway as they provided assistance.
Paramedics with the Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service were called to the scene to provide assistance to injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
The police department in Montgomery County is currently investigating the accident.
