Gaithersburg, MD (January 26, 2023) – Emergency officials were called to the scene of a traffic crash that sent an unknown number of people to local hospitals with injuries. On January 25, officers with the Montgomery County Police Department were notified that a crash on Quincy Orchard Road needed assistance.
Upon arriving at the scene at approximately 1:08 p.m., officers located the damaged vehicles blocking Quincy Orchard Road in the area of great Seneca Highway. Multiple lanes on Quincy Orchard Road were blocked as a result of the crash, prompting authorities to secure the area to prevent further damage.
Medics are called to care for the injured victims while at the scene. At least one of the involved parties was then transported to a local hospital.
Firefighters and the police remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear the road.
The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the accident.
