Gaithersburg, MD (November 22, 2022) – Authorities in Gaithersburg were dispatched to the scene of a crash just before exit 9B on Interstate 270 that resulted in injuries. Calls for help came in at around 5:30 a.m. on November 21.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County Police Department show that multiple vehicles collided on the southbound side of the interstate. The crash caused severe disruptions between Montgomery Village Avenue and Interstate 370. The crash blocks multiple lanes of travel.
Emergency officials responded to the scene and began assisting victims. Medics provided care to the injured parties before transporting them to local hospitals.
The Montgomery County Police Department is actively investigating the collision.
