Gaithersburg, MD (May 26, 2023) – Emergency officials responded to the scene of a fire incident that took place in the Gaithersburg area and left one person injured.
The incident was reported at around 12:30 p.m. on May 24.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service show that a fire broke out in the kitchen of the home located in the 200 block of Skidmore Boulevard. Authorities rushed to the scene and entered the home, which was located near South Westland Drive.
One person was injured as a result of the fire. The adult victim was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of burn injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
