Gaithersburg, MD (February 16, 2023) – A pedestrian was hospitalized as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in the Gaithersburg area.
At around 8:30 a.m. on February 14, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters responded to an automobile accident on Muddy Branch Road.
Reports from law enforcement show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Authorities responded to the scene and closed off Muddy Branch Road near the intersection of School Drive.
The pedestrian, identified as an adult victim, was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
