Gaithersburg, MD (February 17, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured following a car crash that took place in the Gaithersburg area on Thursday evening, February 16.
At around 8:45 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the northbound side of Interstate 270. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway between Montgomery Village Avenue and Watkins Mill Road.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and secured the roadway. EMS rendered aid to the victim before transporting them to a local hospital for further care.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
