Gaithersburg, MD (February 17, 2023) – Three people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in the Gaithersburg area on Wednesday, February 15.
Just after 8:30 a.m., the Montgomery County Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on South Summit Avenue.
Reports show that a black SUV and a blue pickup truck collided on South Frederick Avenue near South Summit Avenue. The two vehicles came to rest, blocking the center of the road.
EMS responded to the scene to render aid to three victims. The injured parties were then transported to area hospitals for further care.
The crash remains under investigation.
