Garden Grove, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Valley View St

Garden Grove, CA (November 17, 2023) – A pedestrian accident on Tuesday night resulted in a fatality in Garden Grove. The incident occurred around 10:26 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, on Valley View St, north of Chapman Ave, as reported by the Garden Grove Police Department.

A 59-year-old woman, believed to be homeless, was hit by a vehicle in the 11800 block of Valley View St. The Orange County Fire Authority found her unresponsive in the road and pronounced her dead at the scene. The driver, a 28-year-old woman from Anaheim, stopped after the incident. The cause of the collision remains unclear, and it’s not known if drugs or alcohol played a role.

Witnesses or those with information about the accident are urged to contact the Garden Grove Police Department.
