Atlanta, GA (October 9, 2020) – A pedestrian and a motorcyclist have both been hospitalized after the motorcyclist struck the pedestrian at an intersection in Atlanta this past Tuesday.
According to the Atlanta Police, the motorcyclist struck the pedestrian in the vicinity of the Donald Lee Hollowell NW Parkway and Simmons Street Northwest in the evening hours on Tuesday, October 6.
The reason the wreck took place is currently being investigated by local law enforcement officials.
The pedestrian is listed as being in serious condition after sustaining injuries in the traffic accident, and the motorcyclist is listed as suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither individual involved has been publicly identified at this time as police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
The intersection was closed for some time after the wreck took place in order for first responders to work at the crash site safely.
