Marietta, GA (October 19, 2020) – A fatal pedestrian crash took the life of one Early Townsend, 61, on an interstate in Marietta this past weekend.
According to authorities, the wreck occurred around 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 16 near Delk Road on I-75 when Townsend was attempting to cross I-75 on foot.
He was struck by a passing vehicle and lost his life due to injuries he sustained in the collision.
The contributing factors of the wreck will be investigated by local police. Few details are currently known about the incident and its surrounding circumstances.
No other information has been released at this time. An investigation is currently underway.
