German Flatts, NY (January 14, 2023) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Thursday evening that ended in injuries. At around 5:15 p.m., on January 12, authorities were called to the scene of a traffic accident in the town of German Flats.
According to law enforcement, 29-year-old Krysta Wright of Ilion, New York, was walking in the area of Route 28 and Ferncliff Road. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a car.
Wright suffered fatal injuries in the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
