Germantown, MD (February 4, 2023) – The police and firefighters out of Montgomery County were called to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Friday morning that left one pedestrian injured.
On February 3, calls for help came in regarding a traffic crash on Waters Landing Drive.
According to officials, at around 9:40 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of Waters Landing Elementary School, located in the 13100 block of Waters Landing Drive.
Authorities arrived at the scene and blocked off the roadway near Alderleaf Drive.
EMS with the Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service provided treatment to the injured pedestrian. The victim was then transported to a local hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
