Germantown, MD (March 28, 2023) – A total of three people were transported to an area hospital following a car crash in the Germantown area on Sunday evening, March 26.
At around 8:00 p.m., authorities were notified that a black sedan and a dark-colored pickup truck collided on Frederick Road near Plummer Drive. Authorities responded to the scene and located the damaged vehicles on the road.
Debris was spread approximately 150 yards across the roadway. Authorities also located a ruptured fuel tank that was causing gas to pour out over various lanes.
Three people involved in the crash were injured. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. All three victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals for further care.
The Montgomery County Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
