Germantown, MD (January 25, 2023) – Emergency officials out of Montgomery County were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic collision that took place on Tuesday morning in the Germantown area.
Calls for assistance were received by the Montgomery County Police Department and the Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue Service at approximately 11:26 a.m. on January 24.
According to officials, a traffic collision took place on Frederick Road. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the road near Shakespeare Boulevard.
The vehicles involved in the accident were damaged significantly. One person had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Two victims were provided care at the scene of the accident by MCFRS EMS. The victims were then transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The incident remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department at this time.
