Glen Burnie, MD (May 21, 2023) – Two people were left injured following a car crash that took place in the Glen Burnie area on Wednesday, May 17.
Around 3:30 p.m., the police and firefighters were called to the scene of the crash on Ritchie Highway.
Reports indicate that a police officer was attempting to pull over a vehicle in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway. As the officers exited the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle reversed it, merely pinning one of them against the patrol vehicle.
Two people were injured as a result of the crash. The victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
