Gouverneur, NY (September 13, 2023) – Two major accidents have occurred in Gouverneur.

The Gouverneur Fire Department reported to both scenes.

One accident happened on State Route 58 near the former Fowler school, closing one lane.

Meanwhile, Route 11 is closed between Scotch Settlement Road and Welch Road due to a tractor-trailer crash.

Officials urge drivers to exercise caution in these areas.
