Granville, NY (March 28, 2023) – A two-vehicle accident in the town of Granville tragically left two people dead and one hospitalized. The fatal crash occurred on New York State Route 22, according to authorities with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday night, March 25th, officials reported the collision at approximately 10:00 p.m. Authorities say that two unspecified types of vehicles collided along the roadway for reasons that are still under investigation.
Emergency responders were called to the scene where they pronounced two individuals in the same vehicle deceased. The two victims who lost their lives have been identified as 20-year-old Myles A. Pauquette and 40-year-old Joshua E. Wood.
The lone occupant of the other vehicle was transported to Glens Falls Hospital with unspecified injuries. No further details are available.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
