Greene County, PA (September 18, 2023) – A devastating single-vehicle accident occurred just after 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, on South Eighty Eight Road in Monongahela Township.

State police reported the driver lost control, struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn and ignite.

Tamara Harshman, 52, from Point Marion, the vehicle’s passenger, tragically died.

Meanwhile, emergency services transported the injured driver to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The investigation is still ongoing.
