Gretna, VA (May 13, 2023) – On May 11, the Virginia state police and firefighters responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on Route 29 in Pittsylvania County.
Reports provided by the police show that just after 6:00 p.m., an 18-year-old man was traveling south on Route 29 in a Nissan when his vehicle became involved in a collision with a second vehicle.
The 18-year-old and the driver of the second vehicle, identified as a 53-year-old, were both injured. The two victims were airlifted and flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for emergency care.
The police are currently investigating the crash.
